What is a voltage sag?

A voltage sag isn't an unavoidable natural disaster — it's a preventable electrical incident.

Also called a voltage dip. IEC and SEMI standards use "voltage sag".

What TSP does

TSP sits in series between the grid and the load. In normal operation it simply passes power through; the instant the voltage drops it disconnects the grid and fills the load voltage from energy stored in ultra-capacitors (EDLC). Once utility power returns, it re-synchronises and goes back to pass-through.

Power passes straight through in normal operation; the inverter wakes only when the voltage drops. That is what off-line means.
